On May 27, 2022, 18½ is hitting select theaters with expansion to more theaters on June 3, 2022. The film stars Willa Fitzgerald and John Magaro.
18½ is about a White House transcriber thrust into the Watergate scandal when she obtains the only copy of the infamous 18½ minute gap in the Nixon’s tapes. Daniel Moya and Dan Mirvish wrote the film, with the latter directing the film.
Upon watching this film, I was in awe of how incredibly well Mirvish broke down this film by building many thrilling aspects that leave you on the edge of your seat. It’s a twisted political thriller that keeps you guessing. I love how you think the film will go one way and it goes another throughout the film. The film is led by a career-best performance from Willa Fitzgerald with some great supporting work by John Magaro, Richard Kind, Vondie Curtis-Hall, and Catherine Curtin.
I had the pleasure of sitting down and talking to Richard about what attracted him to this role, what drives him to continue to act and much more.
